0.5–100 kVAr 230 / 400 VAC Class F (155 °C)

Shunt reactors

An inductive power device connected in parallel to electrical transmission and distribution systems to balance the capacitive effects of lines and cables. By preventing reactive energy limits from being exceeded, it helps avoid penalty costs.

Operating principle

An inductive load that balances capacitive effects

For the system to operate stably and efficiently, the reactor must be selected with suitable kVAr and impedance values based on engineering calculations, taking into account the facility’s installed power, existing compensation capacity and harmonic profile.

Overload withstand

Its thermally robust winding design allows reliable operation above rated current.

Long-lasting and reliable

High-quality insulation materials and vacuum impregnation technology allow years of maintenance-free operation.

Low noise level

A special lamination stack and anti-vibration mounting ensure quiet operation.
