Reactors and power quality equipment
Inductive power components that balance reactive power, limit harmonics and protect motor drives, together with active filtering systems.
Reactors and power qualityproduct list
Shunt reactors
An inductive power device connected in parallel to electrical transmission and distribution systems to balance the capacitive effects of lines and cables. By preventing reactive energy limits from being exceeded, it helps avoid penalty costs.
Harmonic filter reactors
Inductive power components that improve power quality and protect compensation systems by limiting harmonic currents caused by non-linear loads.
Line reactors
An inductive power component connected in series between the motor drive (VFD) and the grid to reduce the drive’s adverse effects on the grid.
Motor drive output reactors
Connected between variable speed drives and the motor. It limits voltage peaks and high dv/dt effects, especially in applications with long distances between the motor and the drive.
Active harmonic filter
Detects harmonic currents caused by non-linear loads in real time and suppresses them with counter-phase currents. By effectively filtering harmonic components from the 2nd to the 51st order, it improves grid and power quality.
SVG — static var generator
Improves the power factor by responding to grid voltage imbalances and reactive power demand in real time. With advanced IGBT-based power electronics, it compensates inductive and capacitive reactive power in less than 15 ms.
